What your customers see when you request a review
When you send a review request, your customer gets a personal link. Here's exactly what that experience looks like on their phone, so you know what you're sending.
Step 1 — The rating page
The link opens a simple page with your business logo, your location's name, and a welcome question (by default, *"How was your experience?"* — you can customize this in your review flow settings). The customer picks one of three faces:
- 🙁 Bad
- 😐 Okay
- 🙂 Great
Step 2a — Happy customers go to Google
If they tap Great, they see *"Thank you! We'd love your review! Redirecting you now..."* and are taken straight to your Google review page, where they can post a public review in a couple of taps. (There's also a Click here if not redirected link just in case.)
Step 2b — Unhappy customers talk to you privately
If they tap Okay or Bad, they see *"We're sorry to hear that — please tell us more so we can make it right"* with a text box (*"Tell us about your experience..."*, minimum 10 characters). When they tap Submit Feedback, they see *"Thank you! We appreciate your feedback. Our team will reach out to you soon."*
That feedback is private — it never goes to Google. It arrives in your Qrese Inbox so you can fix the problem directly with the customer.
Link expiration
Review links don't last forever. If a customer opens an old link they'll see Link Expired — "Sorry, this link is no longer active." You can always send them a fresh request from the Customers page.
Tips
- This flow is why review requests are so effective: happy customers get a frictionless path to Google, and complaints come to you instead of becoming 1-star reviews.
- Everything the customer does (opening the link, the rating they chose, their feedback) shows up in their Interaction History on the Customers page.
